Important Update

Dear Friends,

We are writing to share an important update regarding the future of She Has A Name.

After years of dedicated work in the fight against human trafficking, She Has A Name will be winding down its services effective June 30, 2026. This decision has not been made lightly and comes after months of deep reflection and careful consideration.

We want to assure our community that individuals currently receiving services through She Has A Name are being thoughtfully supported through partnerships with other trusted organizations, ensuring continuity of care during this transition.

• The April Thacker Dream Scholarship will be adopted by Freedom A La Cart.

• The Online Learning Platform will be adopted by Gracehaven. 

• The Thrivers spiritual support group will be adopted by Hope Presbyterian Church.

• The Lower Lights spiritual support group will be adopted by Chroma Church.

• After an extensive search we were unable to find a suitable home for the Strategies for Success Academic Scholarship. Remaining funds will be awarded to renewal recipients to be applied to the fall semester.

“On behalf of the She Has a Name Board, I am incredibly proud of all that She Has A Name has accomplished,” said Hannah Park, Board Chair. “Together, we have broadened awareness and deepened understanding of human trafficking, walked alongside those impacted, and mobilized our community in meaningful ways. While this chapter is coming to a close, the mission continues. Our hope is that each of you will continue to carry our mission to educate others, advocate for change and deeply care for those impacted by human trafficking.”

We are deeply grateful for your support over the years. Your engagement has made a lasting impact, and the legacy of this work will continue through the many lives touched and the ongoing efforts of those committed to ending human trafficking.
