We care about ALL those impacted by human trafficking.

SHAN Demand Reduction Mission Statement

The Columbus Demand Reduction Team is a volunteer task force that is dedicated to reducing the demand for victims of human trafficking in central Ohio. Like all businesses, human trafficking relies on the law of supply and demand. While survivor care efforts will and must always be the central focus of anti-human trafficking efforts, we can not reduce the victimization associated with human trafficking until we reduce the demand for these victims. This task force consists of volunteers who engage with other men in our community to facilitate transformative discussions about the connection between pornography, compulsory sex work, and human trafficking. By challenging societal views and beliefs on these topics, we can significantly reduce the demand for human trafficking victims in Columbus.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 PM

Location: Veritas Community Church, 345 East 2nd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201
